4. Automated processing and AI
Crownly may use automated systems, including machine learning and optical character recognition, to review listings, compare serial numbers, score risk, and assign trust badges. These systems support our review process but do not replace human judgment in all cases. Automated decisions may affect whether a listing is published, flagged for review, or whether certain features are available to an account. You may contact us to request more information about significant automated decisions affecting you, where required by applicable law.
5. How we share information
We may share personal information with:
- Other users, when you publish listings, posts, profile information, or messages visible on the platform.
- Service providers that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations, including hosting, payments, identity verification, analytics, and customer support tools.
- Counterparties to a transaction, such as buyers and sellers involved in an order.
- Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account through the app, we delete or anonymize associated profile, listing, post, message, and order data as described in the account deletion flow, except where retention is required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or payment record-keeping purposes.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage for sensitive verification documents. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Services at your own risk.

Contact privacy@crownly.art to submit a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
10. International users
Crownly is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
